Sierra Queens Gear Up in Monrovia for Pivotal WAFCON Qualifier Against Benin

The Sierra Leone Women’s National Football Team has arrived in Liberia to commence preparations for the second-leg match against Benin in the WAFCON Women’s Qualifiers for Morocco 2026.


After a narrow 2-1 defeat in the first leg, the team is gearing up for a pivotal match on February 24th, 2025, at the SKD Stadium in Monrovia.



Head coach Hassan Malik Mansaray conducted the team's initial training session in Liberia, concentrating on essential areas such as drills, agility, and finishing. This session was designed to enhance the team's tactical strategy and overall intensity, ensuring they are well-prepared to achieve a favorable outcome in the second leg.



With a strong resolve to qualify for the Morocco 2026 WAFCON tournament, the Sierra Leone Women’s National Football Team is committed to delivering their best performance.
