Renowned Sierra Leonean marathoner Osman Challey is formally requesting public financial assistance for a required knee surgery.



Mr. Challey, a distinguished figure in Sierra Leonean athletics, possesses a notable record of accomplishments, including:

  • Winner of the inaugural Street Child Marathon (2012-2020)

  • Bronze medalist at the 2015 Senior African Championship in Burkina Faso

  • Participant in the 2015 All African Games in Congo Brazzaville

  • Gold medalist in the 5000 meters at the 2019 African Championship in Banjul, The Gambia

  • Gold medalist at the West African Marathon in Guinea (2019)

  • Sierra Leone's representative at the 2019 All African Games in Rabat, Morocco
