Sierra Leone and Gambia Battle in WAFU U-20 Afcon Qualifier Semis

The Sierra Leone Under-20 National Football Team has advanced to the semifinals of the U20 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers WAFU A.



The Sierra Leonean squad emerged as the top-performing team in their group, accumulating seven points. This achievement was a result of their dominant victories against Guinea-Bissau and host Liberia.


The next challenge for the team will be a match against The Gambia, scheduled to take place on September 25, 2024. Sierra Leonean supporters eagerly anticipate this forthcoming encounter, harboring aspirations of continued success and an opportunity to represent their country at the continental tournament.
