Sierra Leone Dodgeball Team Loses First Championship Matches



The Sierra Leone national dodgeball team has lost their first two matches at the Dodgeball Champions tournament.


The team faced off against Morocco and Côte d’Ivoire, the more fortunate sides in the competition. Despite losing both matches, the Sierra Leone team derived some positives from their performance.


“We are proud of the way our team played,” said coach Umaru George. “They showed great heart and they never gave up. We know we can compete with the best teams in the world, and we are looking forward to the rest of the tournament.”

“I am so proud of my team,” said player Ibrahim Sheriff Savage. “We played our hearts out, and we never gave up. I am confident that we can win our next game.”


“We are a team, and we will always fight for each other,” said Mariama Arunatu Yillah. “We are not going to give up on our dream of winning this tournament.”


The Sierra Leone national dodgeball team has the talent and the determination to win the Dodgeball Champions tournament.
