Sierra Leone’s Ladies Patriots defeated Eswatini by 147 runs on September 5, 2023, in the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup Division 2 Africa Qualifier in Gaborone, Botswana.
Sierra Leone scored 137/6 in their 20 overs, with Celina Bull top-scoring with 60 runs. Eswatini were restricted to 26 runs in 14.4 overs.
With this win, Sierra Leone has qualified for the final of the tournament, where they will face Kenya.
The winner of the final will progress to the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Africa Division 1.
The final will be played on September 8, 2023, in Botswana.
