The Antonio Rudiger Foundation has donated two sets of jerseys to both the Male and Female Single Leg Amputee National Teams in Sierra Leone, furthering its commitment to inclusivity in the country.
The jerseys were presented during a demonstration match at the team's Lumley Beach training ground and were gratefully received by players and foundation members.
Patrick Kamara, President of the Antonio Rudiger Foundation, emphasized the positive impact of the donation on the lives of footballers with disabilities and its role in fostering a strong sense of community.
The Single Leg Amputee National Football Team, also known as the "Sengbe Boys," showed their appreciation by presenting a portrait of Antonio Rudiger to the Foundation's members. Albert Manley Mustapha, Public Relations Officer of the Single Amputee Football Association, expressed immense gratitude for the Foundation's generous support.
The Antonio Rudiger Foundation's contribution serves as an inspiration and a testament to the power of sport to unite people, regardless of their physical abilities.
