Paralympians prepare for Paris 2024 Paralympic games



Head of the African Paralympic Committee of Zone A (AFPC) Unisa Deen Kargbo has committed himself to improving the status of countries in Zone A region for Paralympic games, including Sierra Leone.



He made this disclosed after his appointment as the head of the Paralympic body in West Africa Zone A.

Unisa Deen Kargbo who also doubles as the president of the National Paralympic Committee Sierra Leone told this medium that getting more qualified athletes for the Paris 2024 Paralympic games is of strategic importance.


He added that he will ensure the athletes feel comfortable to compete in the seemingly daunting task and hopes that with dedication and patience, their desired objectives will be realized.




Harold Sheka Kamara, who represented Sierra Leone in the 2022 World Para Powerlifting Competition satisfactorily in Dubai, revealed his plans to win gold medals in the forthcoming games.



The team’s hope surrounds promoting the good times to roll for Sierra Leone in terms of topping any medal table.
