The National Sports Authority (NSA) and the Ministry of Sports have issued a joint statement criticizing the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) for its recent appointment of the Leone Stars technical team.
The statement, which is circulating on social media, says that the NSA views the process as incomplete and that it was not given enough information about the appointments.
The NSA and the Ministry of Sports also reminded the SLFA that they have supervisory and regulatory authority over the SLFA. The bodies reminded the SLFA of the dismal performance of the team’s past administration of which key recently appointed individuals were an important part.
However, according to a source, this circulating release has not been officially sent to the SLFA, rather it has only been published on social media.
