Forward Mohamed Buya Turay has added another goal to his overall and new team stats, after netting his third goal for his Danish Super League debut, for Odense Boldklub on July 23, 2023.
The Sierra Leonean striker gave OB a 2-1 lead over Viborg FF by scoring in the 37th minute but his efforts to help his team win was thwarted by another goal on their opponent’s side, which caused the match to end in a 2-2 draw.
Turay, who joined OB in May 2023, has scored three goals in four appearances, including a brace in a 3-2 win over Randers FC on July 16, easily placing him as a key player for the team.
Turay's goal against Viborg was his first in the Danish Super League since joining the Club this Season though he had previously played in the league for Sint-Truiden and Djurgårdens IF. Though the match ended in a draw, the team continues in 10th place in the Danish Super League table.
