Leone Stars Announces 25-Man Squad for FIFA World Cup Qualifiers

The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has officially revealed the 25-man roster for the Leone Stars' eagerly awaited FIFA World Cup 2026 African Qualifiers.



The team is scheduled to compete against Guinea-Bissau and Egypt in significant matches that could determine their trajectory towards the World Cup.


Head Coach Mohamed Kallon has carefully assembled a robust squad, integrating both seasoned players and emerging talents, with the objective of securing vital points in these qualifiers.



The lineup includes well-known figures such as veteran striker Kei Kamara and reliable defender Abdulai Juma Bah.


A notable aspect of the squad is the inclusion of three home-based goalkeepers, highlighting the depth of talent within Sierra Leone's domestic league.


Among them is Alhaji Sesay, the first-choice goalkeeper from Bhantal FC, who has secured his position through consistent performances.
