Dr. Emmanuel Saffa Abdulai, Owner of Luawa Football Club and Executive Director of the National Sports Authority in Sierra Leone, recently hosted a diverse group of scouts and TV crew members from Denmark, Portugal, and England.

Over the past three days, the team collaborated to assess players, games, and skills in an effort to identify potential export talents from Sierra Leone.

This initiative aims to address the growing concerns surrounding youth development in Sierra Leone by providing a platform for young athletes to showcase their potential on a global scale.

Dr. Abdulai, deeply committed to youth empowerment, dedicated his time and resources to this cause, despite limited financial resources.

“It’s about making a difference. Every day, I focus on helping young people because they are the future, and if we can nurture their talents, we can create opportunities for them to succeed on the international stage,” Dr. Abdulai shared.

This collaboration marks a significant step toward enhancing football talent identification and development in Sierra Leone, providing young athletes with the opportunity to reach their full potential and connect with international scouts and teams.
