His Excellency President Julius Maada Bio took to Twitter on 4th April 2023, to speak on the fifth anniversary of his service as President of the Republic.
According to President Bio, despite global issues, his administration was able to achieve "developmental strides to improve the quality of life of Sierra Leoneans".
He explained that his administration chose to build the Next Generation instead of focusing on the Next Election, slated for 24th June 2023.
He remarked that these five years is a half of his time in office based on his work done and plans to transition from the New Direction to staying in the Right Direction for the sustainability of our economic development efforts in SierraLeone.
