Striker of FC Kallon Alie Conteh has won the Sierra Leone Association of Artists and Musicians(SLAAM) award's for best sportsman for 2023, just after winning Sierra Leone Premier League's award for Player of the month of May.
The award event which was held over the weekend on 2nd June, 2023 in America saw the nominations of top athletes in this category, such as Cricketeer John Bangura and track Star Karin Bangura.
Alie had made a historic play by scoring thirteen goals in five matches, to become man of the match in three of those matches. He also made eighty passes and ninety four shots on goal in the very month.
