Fantacee Wiz's Reflections on IVLP Participation


Fantacee Wiz, a renowned musician, recently received a certificate from Jacqueline Moore, the Public Affairs Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Freetown. This certificate signifies her participation in the prestigious 2023 International Visitors Leadership Program held in the United States.



Alongside twelve remarkable artists and creatives from various parts of the world, Fantacee Wiz embarked on a journey across the United States. This journey included lectures, discussions, and immersive experiences that delved into topics such as artistic expression, authenticity, freedom, art entrepreneurship, and preservation. The program's central theme, "Social Change Through Music," resonated deeply with the participants, inviting them to harness the transformative power of art.



Through a series of dialogues, the group explored the potential of music to serve as a catalyst for social change and justice. They discussed how music can be utilized to address societal issues, promote understanding, and foster unity. 


Fantacee Wiz expressed her commitment to employing her music as a tool for positive social impact, drawing on the insights and understanding she gained during this transformative experience.
