The Electricity Distribution and Supply Authority(EDSA) has today, in a press release, announced the shutting down of their 161KV transmission line from Bumbuna to Freetown’s 161KV substation at Kingtom, to increase output for Western Area residents.
The shut-off will allow for the connection of the 25MW Makoth Solar Power to the lines and the process will require three days, Friday 11th, Monday 14th and Wednesday 16th August, from 6am to 2pm on the mentioned days.
They apologized for the inconveniences during the process.
