Bo Rangers, the reigning Sierra Leone Premier League champions, have announced that they will be organizing a Carling Cup on October 28, 2023, to kick off the new Premier League season at the Southern Arena in Bo.
In the meantime, the club has signed Bocakaire Lamin from Kamboi Eagles and is looking to sign more players ahead of the 2023/24 Premier League season.
The club has also announced that it will give its players eight days of rest after their exit from the CAF TotalEnergies Champions League.
Bo Rangers have also bid farewell to head coach Alhaji Foray, who has been appointed assistant coach of the senior national team, Leone Stars.
Foray, who joined Bo Rangers in 2021, played a pivotal role in the team's domestic successes, including winning the league with a 34-match unbeaten run.
In a statement, Bo Rangers said that it was in the best interests of the coach to pursue greater heights in his career.
"The club would like to thank Alhaji for his hard work and dedication during his time at Bo Rangers. He was a key part of our success, and we wish him all the best in his new role with the Leone Stars."
Bo Rangers extends best wishes to the coach as he prepares for his first assignment with the Leone Stars in the upcoming friendlies in Morocco from October 14 to 17, 2023.
The club wishes its head coach, Alhaji Foray, who is with the national team, all the best, while deputy coach Kabineh Kamara will handle things while Foray is away with the Leone Stars.
