Bhantal FC secured promotion with a decisive 1-0 victory over Correctional FC on Thursday. The only goal of the game came in the first half, when Bhantal striker Kai George Williams capitalized on a defensive error to slot the ball past the Correctional goalkeeper. Bhantal controlled the rest of the match and could have scored more goals, but they were content to sit back and defend their lead in the second half.
This is a historic moment for Bhantal FC, who are a relatively new club. They were founded in 2019 and have quickly risen through the ranks of Sierra Leonean football. Promotion to the Premier League is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the players, coaches, and staff at Bhantal FC.
Kholifa Stars and Kahunla Rangers also gained promotion to the Premier League on Saturday. Kholifa Stars defeated East End Lions, while Kahunla Rangers beat Correctional Sport Club 3-1.
All three of these teams have worked hard all season to achieve their goals, and their promotion is a testament to their dedication and skill.
