Benin and Sierra Leone to Play Friendly Ahead of World Cup Qualifiers

The Benin national football team’s technical staff and a number of players have arrived in Casablanca, Morocco, where they held their first training session today in preparation for their upcoming friendly matches against Sierra Leone and Madagascar.

Five players were present for the session: Moumounni, Sankamao, Tchetchao, Obassa, and Prince Richard Dossou.

After the session, which lasted about an hour, the five players met with coach Gernot Rohr. Rohr outlined his plans for the team and listened to the players about their progress at their respective clubs.

Meanwhile, the friendly will give Sierra Leone’s Interim coach Amidu Karim the opportunity to test his coaching skills and help him with player selection.

The matches are scheduled to take place on 14th & 17th October respectively.
