The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) has chosen AYV as the organization to participate in its prestigious BBC Media Leaders Programme.
Mr. Messeh Leone, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of AYV, traveled to Cape Town, South Africa, for a fully sponsored four-day trip to participate in the 2024 BBC Media Leaders Conference. The conference is designed to foster the development of media across Africa.
The BBC Media Leaders Conference will take place from November 5 to 9 at the Sun Square Cape Town City Bowl in Cape Town, South Africa.
The program covers various media platforms, including Television, Radio, Print, Digital, and multimedia. This year's conference theme is "Building Reach and Trust with Young Audiences."
The BBC Media Leaders Programme offers a distinctive platform for senior executives and directors to converge, learn, exchange ideas, and share knowledge. The topics discussed range from the latest media trends to the most pressing issues facing the multimedia industry, as well as financial sustainability and business investment strategies for media institutions.
As part of the BBC Media Leaders Conference, Mr. Messeh Leone, AYV's Chief Operating Officer, will meet with top BBC executives and participate in working group sessions alongside other media partners and leaders, including Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) and directors from various regions across Africa.
