The Charleston Battery defeated Louisville City FC 2-1 on Saturday, November 4, 2023, to win the USL Championship Eastern Conference title. The Battery will now face the winner of the Sacramento Republic FC-Phoenix Rising FC match in the USL Championship final on November 12, 2023.
Arturo Rodriguez scored the first goal for the Battery in the fifth minute of the match, and Augi Williams added a penalty kick in the 58th minute. Louisville City FC pulled a goal back in the 90th minute, but the Battery held on for the victory.
