The Sierra Leone Police have summoned Dr. Samura Mathew Wilson Kamara, the All People's Congress flag bearer in the 2023 elections, for questioning regarding statements made in audio recordings circulating on social media.

In an official statement, the Police requested that Dr. Kamara provide clarification on materials in which he was heard discussing electoral justice and, in some instances, being referred to as President-Elect.

Dr. Kamara's legal counsel responded to the summons, indicating that Dr. Kamara was unavailable due to family obligations and requested a formal written invitation detailing the reasons for the inquiry.

It remains uncertain whether Dr. Kamara has been further contacted or has responded to the summons.
