The All People's Congress Party has directed their councillors, Mayors and District Chairpersons to present themselves for oath-taking into their respective positions.
In a release dated today 25th October, the party in conformity with stipulations of their joint agreement with government at the recently concluded three days peace dialogue, are acknowledging prior notices from the Ministry of Local Government and community Affairs, which earmarked dates for swearing in and inauguration into offices of these representatives.
The ceremonies for Western Area Urban and Rural will be conducted tomorrow at the ministry's offices in Freetown and the rural area, respectively.
Other areas will be conducting their inaugurations in coming days.
