Sierra Leonean basketball player Alimamy Koroma is excelling in both basketball and academia in the United States.
A graduate transfer forward, Koroma played for Cal Poly in the Big West Conference for four seasons, averaging 10.7 points and 4.6 rebounds per game. He was twice named an All-Big West honorable mention.
Koroma is now pursuing a master's degree in sports management at the University of Portland, where he is also a member of the Portland Pilots men's basketball team. A versatile player who can play inside and outside, Koroma is also a strong rebounder and defender.
