30 home-based players invited to train for match against Guinea Bissau

The Leone Stars Technical team has announced a 30-man provisional squad of home-based players for training, ahead of their AFCON Qualifier Matchday 6 against Guinea Bissau in September this year.

The Leone Stars are currently in third place in Group A of the Afcon qualifiers, with 5 points after 5 matches played.

The thirty(30) players invited are mostly the top performers in the recently concluded Sierra Leone Premier League.

First-timers like Sallieu Bah, Juma Bah, and Ports Authority's Joseph Cleveland, who missed the Nigeria match at the SKD Stadium in Liberia due to documentation, remain hopeful they'll earn their eventual call-up.
